Synopsis: Sookie, Bill and Jason return to a Bon Temps turned upside down by Maryann. Bill discovers that traditional vampire techniques do not work on Maryann; Hoyt and Jessica try to keep a lid on Maxine’s (Hoyt’s mother) madness; Sookie tries to push through the darkness consuming Tara. With all hell breaking loose, Jason takes the bull by the horns to rescue Sam, at least for the moment.

look i know ive been saying this is the best, no this episode is the best. but the truth is guys i just have to say this. THEY ARE ALL THE BEST EPISODES. that is all till next weekend. oh and thanks to whom made this site. u are quenching my thirst each week by showing the newest episodes when they come out.

Geez! I’ve never read the books but I sure do which I new what the hell Maryann was! And someone please explain the fact that if that “Queen” had so many guards, how the hell did she die? Um, talk about security FAIL!

Just because she had blood on her foot doesn’t mean shes dead =P. If I do recall, vampires decay as soon as they die and if she was as old as the title of Queen suggests it would be like instant dust.
Just my theory =P I don’t think shes dead.
Can’t wait for next weekend!

MaryAnn is a maenad. In the book the story is very different and on a way smaller scale than this. The books are better than the show but I do have to admit they give the show some entertainment value also. I am sure the Queen is not dead because Sofie Ann has a big story line down the road. Or at least I hope the powers that be at HBO keep that storyline in some shape or form. Also,,,,meanad=maenads were the female followers of Dionysus, the most significant members of the Thiasus, the retinue of Dionysus. Their name literally translates as “raving ones”. Often the maenads were portrayed as inspired by him into a state of ecstatic frenzy, through a combination of dancing and drunken intoxication.[1] In this state, they would lose all self control, begin shouting excitedly, engage in uncontrolled sexual behavior, and ritualistically hunt down and tear animals (and sometimes men and children) to pieces, devouring the raw flesh. During these rites, the maenads would dress in fawn skins and carry a thyrsus, a long stick wrapped in ivy or vine leaves and tipped by a cluster of leaves, weave ivy-wreaths around their heads, and often handle or wear snakes.[2]

I have to say thanks for this web sit I don’t get HBO and have to watch ture blood on line on mondays I hope they stick to the story line that is happenining right now, with Maryann. Isn’t she the one to prepare everyone and thing for her god which is the DEVILE himself and it’s great the Sookie is finding out that she has more powers than that of just being able to read peoples minds she and bill will be a key player in what is to happen also things with eric are not yet finished yet that will also have something to do with this too right?

OMG! What a great show! Kudos to the writers that makes the show more interesting, a different storyline from the books but with great umpt!!! Fans of Sookie doesn’t have to be divided between the books and the show since they are both good for entertainment.

Ya’ll Charlaine Harris wrote some awesome books. If you like the show please read the books. They are like super addictive chocolate. I love them and have gotten others addicted to them. As good as the show gets the books get even better.

Just a side note, I have read the books…. the whole plot of the show has moved out from the books. This season mirrors a combination of the second and third book but it’s twisted the plot for “ratings.” I wont say much…mainly cause I hate spoilers too, but in my opinion the “Queen” is covered in blood as a reference to the mid-evil queen whom killed young girls and bathed in their blood to preserve her “immortal youth.”
As to what we’ll actually happen….who knows… oh and even if the queen was dead…i mean all the way dead and the writers were going to make up so story as to why she didn’t turn to dust, then the guards would at least be running around freaking out, not standing still like morons.
